Week 3: Recipe Of The Week
This week’s Recipe of the Week is a natural blend.. and I don’t say this lightly when I tell you it has officially become my favorite natural combo ever.
This recipe was inspired by a set of custom braids I made few months back, and as soon as I mixed it, I was fully sold. It’s soft, dimensional, and natural while still including rainbow tinsel.
🌀 This Week’s Recipe
✶ Supervillain with Gold Tinsel
✶ Raven
✶ High Tech
✶ Disco
✶ Supervillain
✶ Ash Blonde
✶ Silver Fox
Why This Blend Works
This blend is all about balance. You get warmth from the golds, depth from the darker tones, and brightness from the silvers and blondes without anything overpowering.
What I love most about this recipe is how flexible it is. It’s very much a choose your own adventure.
You can:
✶ Add more or less gold or silver.
✶ Lean darker and moodier
✶ Or sneak in a pop of color if that’s your vibe
It adapts really easily depending on what you want the final look to be!
How to Make It Yours
This is one of those blends that looks good almost no matter what, as long as you don’t overthink it.
If you’re mixing this recipe at home:
✶ Adjust ratios instead of adding more colors
✶ Let individual shades stay visible
✶ Keep some separation so the blend stays dimensional
Each recipe is meant to be a creative guide, not a rule.
This natural blend is great if you want:
✶ A go-to everyday color
✶ A neutral option for clients or yourself
✶ Something natural but still interesting
✶ A base you can dress up or down
It’s the kind of blend you’ll reach for again and again (I can't stop)
The Takeaway
This Recipe of the Week is proof that natural blends don’t have to be basic. Thoughtful color placement and intentional mixing are what make the difference.
If you’ve been looking for a natural blend that actually has personality..this one might just be the one 🤍
